The front drain hoses are connected to the roof opening panel frame and routed to the underside of the vehicle through the A-pillar. They are removed through the opening behind the A-pillar lower trim panel. To remove the left-hand side drain hose, the inertia fuel shut-off (IFS) switch mounting bracket must be detached from the A-pillar. Both drain hoses are equipped with a rubber drain bung that automatically releases pressure and allows the drain hose to empty.
Rear Drain Hoses
The rear drain hoses are connected to the roof opening panel frame and routed to the underside of the vehicle through the C-pillar on 4-door and 5-door vehicles, and the D-pillar on the wagon. They are located by a rubber grommet at the base of the pillar. The drain hoses are secured to the vehicle by three retaining clips on 4-door and 5-door vehicles, and 6 retaining clips on the wagon. Both drain hoses are equipped with a rubber drain bung that automatically releases pressure and allows the drain hose to empty.
