Removal and Installation

General Equipment
Worldwide Diagnostic System (WDS)

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Remove the EGR valve tube.
    Refer to: Exhaust Manifold to Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Tube (303-08D Engine Emission Control - 2.0L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the air cleaner.
    Refer to: Air Cleaner (303-12D Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 2.0L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The gasket is to be reused unless damaged.
    1. Torque: 10 Nm
    1. Torque: 8 Nm
    1. Torque: 5 Nm

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Using the WDS, TOOLBOX/POWERTRAIN/SERVICE FUNCTIONS/RESET KAM, reset the EGR valve.
