Removal and Installation

Audio unit removal tools
Flat-bladed screwdriver
Round-ended steel rule

Removal

  1. Refer to: A-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  1. Refer to: Sunload Sensor (412-01 Climate Control, Removal and Installation).
  1. Refer to: Headlamp Switch (417-01A Exterior Lighting, Removal and Installation).
  1. Refer to: Steering Column (211-04 Steering Column, Removal and Installation).
  1. Refer to: Floor Console (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).

  1. General Equipment: Round-ended steel rule

  1. General Equipment: Flat-bladed screwdriver

  1. Torque: 10 Nm

    CAUTION:The component must only be removed by pushing from behind.
    Release the clips and at the same time push on the back of the air bag module.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
