Head Rest: Description and Operation
Both front seats have a front seat back head restraint with the following features:

a single post with a notch to engage a spring-loaded catch in the mounting bracket assembly.

a mounting bracket assembly retains the post and front seat head rest guide rod sleeve.

mounting bracket assembly welded to the front seat back frame. The front seat back head restraint can be positioned anywhere from a normal
position to a raised position of approximately 25mm (1 inch).

Pulling up on the front seat back head restraint will raise it.
-
Pushing down will return it to the normal position.
