Reverse Clutch
DISASSEMBLE
Exploded View Of Clutch Assembly
1. Refer to the Exploded View Of Clutch Assembly image for disassembling procedure.
ASSEMBLE
1. Apply small amount of automatic transaxle fluid to inner and outer faces of seal, then install on reverse piston. Face outer seal lip toward the inside
by gently rolling it down around the circumference for easier installation.
2. Attach seal protector tool No. T88C-7700-GH or equivalent, to reverse piston.
3. Install reverse piston into reverse and forward drum by pushing evenly around circumference, then remove seal protector.
4. Install piston return spring with tabs facing away from reverse piston.
