Probe V6-153 2.5L DOHC (1994)
3. Remove Transaxle Plugs T88C-7025-AH.
4. Inspect the differential oil seals. If they show any sign of wear or damage replace them.
5. Make sure the driveshaft bearing retainer circlip gap is positioned at the top of the LH front wheel driveshaft and joint splines and lubricate the
splines with the same fluid the transaxle requires, either ATF for automatic transaxle or manual transmission lubricant for MTX.
6. Carefully align the front wheel driveshaft and joint splines with the differential side gear splines and push the front wheel driveshaft and joint into
the differential. The locking of the driveshaft bearing retainer circlip into the LH differential side gear groove can be felt which indicates that the
LH front wheel driveshaft and joint is fully installed.
7.
Position the front wheel driveshaft and joint through the wheel hub and install a new front axle wheel hub retainer. Do not tighten the front axle
wheel hub retainer at this time.
8. If installing the RH front wheel driveshaft and joint position the front axle bearing bracket and install the three front axle bearing bracket bolts.
Tighten the front axle bearing bracket bolts to 42-62 Nm (31-46 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown
