7. Use a pry to separate the ball joint from the front wheel knuckle.
8. Separate the front wheel driveshaft and joint from the wheel hub. If the front wheel driveshaft and joint splines bind, use 2-Jaw Puller
D80L-1002-L or equivalent. Hold the front wheel driveshaft and joint while pulling the front wheel knuckle/brake assembly outward to separate
the assemblies.
CAUTION: Never strike the front wheel driveshaft and joint with any object. Damage to the front wheel driveshaft joint internal components will
result.
9. Pivot the outboard end of the front wheel driveshaft and joint rearward to ease in the front wheel driveshaft and joint removal.
10. Insert a pry between the outer race of the front wheel driveshaft joint and the front axle bearing bracket. Pry outward until the outboard front wheel
driveshaft and joint is released from the driveshaft bearing retainer circlip. Remove the outboard front wheel driveshaft and joint.
CAUTION: Extreme care must be taken to ensure the prybar does not damage the transaxle case, differential oil seal, front wheel driveshaft joint,
