Make sure the front wheel driveshaft joint boot is fully seated in the front wheel driveshaft joint boot grooves in the front wheel driveshaft and
joint and outer race.
12. Extend or compress the front wheel driveshaft joint as necessary until the distance between the front wheel driveshaft joint boot clamp grooves
measures 90 mm (3.5 inches). Do not allow this dimension to change until the front wheel driveshaft joint boot clamps are installed.
13. Insert a dulled screwdriver blade between the front wheel driveshaft joint boot and the outer bearing race to allow trapped air to escape from the
front wheel driveshaft joint boot
