Removal and Installation
1. Remove the steering column assembly.
2. Remove the insert plate and the brake shift interlock actuator bolts.
3. NOTE: The brake shift interlock actuator clip is an assembly aid for the assembly plant and does not need to be replaced.
Remove the insert plate from the brake shift interlock actuator.

Remove and discard the brake shift interlock actuator clip.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-inch).
