Ranger 4WD V6-3.0L VIN V Flex Fuel (1999)
1. NOTE: Do not clean the valve cover gasket with solvent. Damage to the valve cover gasket may occur.
Clean all mating surfaces.
2. Apply a bead of Silicone Gasket and Sealant in two places where the cylinder head and cylinder block meet.

Use Silicone Gasket and Sealant F6AZ-19562-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSE-M4G323-A6.
3. If removed, install the valve cover gasket.
4. Install the valve cover.

Position the valve cover.

Tighten the five bolts and the three stud bolts in the sequence shown.
