1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
WARNING:

If replacing a deployed air bag module, always install a new air bag Restraints Control Module (RCM).
NOTE:

Repair is made by installing a new part only. If the new part does not correct the condition, install the original part and perform the diagnostic
procedure again.

Make sure to tighten the retaining bolts to specification. It is critical for correct operation.
2. Prove out the air bag system.
