6. Bleed the system.
1. Start the engine and slowly rotate the steering wheel to the right, just off the stop.
| NOTE: The pressure will fall off so keep adequate pressure maintained using the vacuum pump. |
2. Turn the engine off and apply 51 kPa (0,51 bar) (15 inHg) of vacuum pressure, using the vacuum pump, until the air is purged from the system (minimum of 5 minutes).
3. Depressurise the system at the vacuum pump.
4. Repeat the bleed operation rotating the steering wheel to the left, just off the stop.
