Engine - 1.3L Duratec-8V (Rocam)/1.6L Duratec-8V (Rocam) - Valve Cover Streetka 2003.5 (01/2003-07/2005)
In-vehicle Repair

Removal
  1. Remove the air cleaner resonator.

  1. Disconnect the spark plug electrical connectors (engine shown removed for clarity).

  1. Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connector.

  1. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hoses from the valve cover.

  1. Detach the vacuum line and the fuel lines from the valve cover.

  1. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.

  1. Remove the valve cover.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Install a new valve cover gasket if necessary.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
