Exterior Lighting - Headlamp Assembly—1.6L Duratec-8V (Rocam) Streetka 2003.5 (01/2003-07/2005)
Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Raise the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

  1. Remove the wheelhouse trim panel front bolts.

  1. Remove the wheelhouse trim panel rear bolts.

  1. Remove the wheelhouse trim panel.

  1. Detach the fender from the sill panel.

  1. Remove the fender front clamp bolt.

  1. Remove the fender rear clamp bolt.

  1. Remove the headlamp lower screw.
  1. Lower the vehicle.

  1. Detach the bumper from the radiator grille opening panel.

  1. Detach the fender from the wheelhouse.

  1. Pull the bumper towards the front secure it to one side.

  1. Remove the headlamp upper screws.

  1. Disconnect the turn signal connector.

  1. Remove the headlamp assembly.
    • Disconnect the headlamp connector.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Clean the lens with a damp cloth to prevent the build-up of electrostatic charge, which could cause dust to stick to the plastic lens.
    Install the components in the reverse order.
  1. Align the headlamps. For additional information, refer to Section  417-01 Exterior Lighting.
