Removal and Installation of Headlamp Leveling Motor

Exterior Lighting - Headlamp Leveling Motor Streetka 2003.5 (01/2003-07/2005)
Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the headlamp. For additional information, refer to Section  417-01 Exterior Lighting.
  1. Detach the cover on the rear side of the headlamp.

  1. Remove the headlamp levelling motor (left-hand side shown).
    • Disconnect the plug.
    • Remove the headlamp levelling motor (bayonet fit).

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Before installing the headlamp, check the operation of the headlamp levelling motor.
    Refit the components in the reverse order.
  1. Fit the headlamp. For additional information, refer to Section  417-01 Exterior Lighting.
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Move the headlamp levelling switch to the "0" position.
    Check the headlamp alignment. If necessary, align the headlamps. For additional information, refer to Section  417-01 Exterior Lighting.
