L.H. INSULATOR & SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
Models Equipped W/Auto. Trans.
1.
Raise and support vehicle, then remove left front wheel and tire assembly.
2.
Support transmission with suitable jack and block of wood positioned near insulator.
3.
Remove insulator-to-support assembly attaching nuts, Fig. 1.
4.
Remove insulator-to-frame through bolts, then using jack, raise transmission enough to unload insulator.
5.
Remove support assembly-to-transmission attaching bolts, then remove insulator and/or transmission support assembly.
6.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque support assembly-to-transmission attaching bolts to 40---55 ft. lbs.
b. Torque insulator-to-frame and insulator-to-support attaching bolts to 70---96 ft. lbs.

Remove insulator-to-transmission attaching bolts, then the mount.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque attaching bolts to 70---96 ft. lbs.
