EGR Valve: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
^
Remove air cleaner outlet tube.
^
Disconnect EGR valve emission vacuum control hose and EGR pressure valve sensor hose from EGR valve.
^
Disconnect EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube from EGR valve.
^
Remove EGR valve retainer bolts and EGR valve from upper intake manifold.
^
Remove EGR valve gasket and clean residue from upper intake manifold sealing surface.
INSTALLATION
^
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten EGR valve retainer bolts to specification.
