Accelerator Cable/Linkage: Service and Repair
Accelerator Cable Bracket
REMOVAL and INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect accelerator cable at throttle body throttle lever by unwinding cable core wire from pulley and slide end fitting out of slot on pulley.
2. Remove accelerator cable housing to bracket retaining screw.
3. Remove speed control cable from accelerator cable bracket, if so equipped.
4. Remove bolts retaining accelerator cable bracket to engine.
5. To install, reverse Removal procedure and tighten accelerator cable bracket bolts to 14-20 Nm (10-15 lb ft).
