6. Remove the lower radiator air deflector.

Remove the five screws. Remove the air deflector, if equipped.

Remove the seven screws and the lower radiator air deflector.
7. Remove and discard the plastic wire tie.
8. Disconnect the condenser core refrigerant lines. Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

During installation, install new O-ring seals lubricated with PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft
YN-12-C), or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
9. Remove the pin-type retainers. Remove the LH and RH side air deflectors.
