Solenoid - Downshift - Remove and Install (17 687 0)

Transit 1995 (08/1994-07/2000)

Removal and Installation

Remove

1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Remove the kickdown solenoid.

1. Push off the transmission kickdown lever ball head.

2. Unclip and separate the multiplug.

3. Remove the three bolts and take off the kickdown solenoid.

Install

3. Install the kickdown solenoid.

1. Screw in the bolts.

2. Join the multiplug and clip it in.

3. Press on the transmission kickdown lever ball head.

• Adjust the kickdown solenoid cable as described in Operation Number 17 682 0.

4. Lower the vehicle.
