Coolant shut‐off valve
| | NOTE: - 1. Coolant shut‐off valve
- 2. Solenoid valve
- 3. Vacuum pump
- 4. Brake servo connection
- 5. Connection to exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR system)
- On vehicles with air conditioning, the supply of coolant to the heater radiator is cut off by means of the coolant shut‐off valve when the air conditioning is in operation.
- The system operates by vacuum which passes to the coolant shut‐off valve by means of a solenoid valve. The vacuum is taken from the line to the brake servo.
- The solenoid valve is controlled by the EPIC control module.

Throttle body (up to '98 model year)
| | NOTE: - 1. Intake pipe
- 2. Throttle housing
- 3. V‐clamp
- 4. Turbocharger
- The throttle body in the inlet area of the turbocharged diesel engine is connected to the turbocharger by a V‐clamp.
- At the engine end the flange connection has been replaced by a pipe.
- The air intake pipe has been modified accordingly.
