Air Cleaner Assembly (Petrol Variants) - Remove And Install (23 174 0)

Transit 1995 (08/1994-07/2000)

Removal and Installation

Remove

1. Remove the MAF sensor (refer to Operation Number 29 226 0).

'96 variants only

2. Slacken the secondary air injection supply hose retaining clip.

3. Disconnect the secondary air injection supply hose.

All variants

4. Open the clip and disconnect the breather hose.

5. Unscrew the air cleaner assembly retaining nut.

6. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

7. Remove the heat shield and air intake pipe.

Install

8. Refit the components in the reverse order.

Ensure that the air cleaner assembly locating peg is located in the grommet.
