Removal and Installation
Remove

WARNING:

Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel related components. Highly flammable vapors are always present and may ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

WARNING:

The fuel tank manual valves must be closed and fuel line pressure released before attempting any repairs. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.

1. Depressurize the CNG system. For additional information, refer to Fuel System Pressure Release in this section.

2. Disconnect the four injector electrical connectors.

NOTE:

Make sure that the fuel injection supply manifold is supported when loosening the flexible hose union.

3. Disconnect the CNG flexible hose from the fuel injection supply manifold and discard the aluminium sealing washer.

4. Remove the upper section of the fuel injection supply manifold.

5. Remove the fuel injectors.
• Remove and discard the O‐ring seals.
Install

NOTE:

Install new injector O‐ring seals.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

7. Check the system for leaks. For additional information, refer to High‐Pressure Leak Test and Low‐Pressure Leak Test in this section.
