Expansion Tank - Remove And Install (24 284 0)

Removal and Installation

Remove

1. Drain the cooling system (refer to Operation Number 24 122 0).

Vehicles with air conditioning

2. Detach the electronic vacuum regulator. from the expansion tank

1. Release the electronic vacuum regulator.

2. Detach the electronic vacuum regulator.

3. Detach the heater shut‐off valve from the expansion tank.

1. Release the heater shut‐off valve.

2. Detach the heater shut‐off valve

All vehicles

4. Remove the expansion tank.

1. Disconnect the three coolant hoses.

2. Remove the two retaining screws.

Install

5. Refit the components in the reverse order.

6. Refill the cooling system to the MAX mark (refer to Operation Number 24 122 0).
