Removal and Installation
Remove

CAUTION:

Disconnect the battery negative lead.

1. Loosen the clips, unscrew the retaining bolt and remove the intake pipe.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold to EGR valve pipe (refer to Operation Number 23 301 0).

3. Disconnect the operating arm from the EGR throttle body.

4. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

5. Remove the EGR throttle body/valve assembly.

6. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

7. Remove the EGR valve retaining bolts.

8. Separate the EGR valve from the EGR throttle body.
Install
9. Refit the components in the reverse order.
   Fit a new EGR valve gasket; do not attempt to refit the old one.
