Removal and Installation
Remove

CAUTION:

Disconnect the battery negative lead.

1. Remove the alternator drive belt.
1. Slacken the tensioner.
2. Remove the drive belt and release the tensioner.

2. Remove the tensioner.
Install

NOTE:

Ensure that the pin in the tensioner body is correctly located in the hole in the mating face.
3. Refit the tensioner.

4. Refit the alternator drive belt.
5. Reconnect the battery negative lead.
