Remove the driver side wheel and tire.

Detach the brake hose from the strut and spring assembly. | Vehicles with ball joint stabilizer bar link | | -
Detach the wheel speed sensor from the strut and spring assembly. | | | -
Detach the stabilizer bar link from the strut and spring assembly. | All vehicles | | -
Detach the brake caliper and anchor plate from the wheel knuckle. | | | -
CAUTION:Suspend the brake caliper and anchor plate to prevent load being placed on the brake hose. Suspend the brake caliper and anchor plate. | | | -
Detach the wheel knuckle from the suspension strut. | | | -
Detach the floor covering to access the strut and spring assembly retaining nuts. | | | -
CAUTION:With the aid of another technician, support the strut and spring assembly. Remove the strut and spring assembly. | Installation | | -
To install, reverse the removal procedure. | |
