Remove the axle shaft. For additional information, refer to Axle Shaft in this section. | | | -
Remove the brake drum. For additional information, refer to Section 206-02 Drum Brake. | | | -
Remove the wheel hub locknut. - Bend back the locking washer.
- Remove the locknut and locking washer.

Remove the wheel hub. - Remove the retaining nut and the outer bearing cone.
| Installation | | -
Lubricate the wheel hub bearing cup and bearing cone with grease. | | | -
NOTE:Do not fully tighten the wheel hub retaining nut at this stage. Install the wheel hub. - Install the outer bearing cone and the retaining nut.

NOTE:Rotate the wheel hub backwards and forwards whilst tightening the wheel hub retaining nut to set the bearing. Using the special tool, tighten the wheel hub retaining nut. | | | -
Using the special tool, loosen the wheel hub retaining nut approximately 120 degrees. | | | -
NOTE:Do not fully tighten the wheel hub locknut at this stage. Install the wheel hub locknut. - Install the locking washer.
- Install the locknut.

NOTE:Do not bend the locking washer upwards at this stage. Using the special tool, tighten the wheel hub locknut. | | | -
Using the special tool, check the wheel bearing end play and correct if necessary. | | | -
Lock the wheel hub retaining nut and the locknut. - Bend the locking washer upwards.

Install the brake drum. For additional information, refer to Section 206-02 Drum Brake. | | | -
