Starting System - Starter Motor—2.0L Duratorq-Di (Puma) Diesel/2.0L Duratorq-TDCi (Puma) Diesel/2.0L Duratorq-TDDi (Puma) Diesel Transit 2000.5 (01/2000-05/2006)
Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section  414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

  1. Disconnect the starter motor ground cable.

  1. Disconnect the ignition switch to starter motor solenoid cable.

  1. Disconnect the battery to starter motor solenoid cable

  1. Remove the starter motor.

Installation
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
