Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section  414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.

  1. Detach the alternative fuel control module bracket from the steering column.

  1. Remove the tie strap from the alternative fuel control module bracket.
    • Discard the tie strap.

  1. Remove the ignition signal filter retaining nut.

  1. Remove the Ignition signal filter.
    • Disconnect the ignition signal filter electrical connectors.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Install a new tie strap.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
