Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Evacuate the fuel tank. For additional information, refer to Section  310-00A Fuel System - General Information / 310-00B Fuel System - General Information.

  1. Disconnect the fuel filler pipe to fuel line union.
    • Discard the fuel line O-ring seal.
  1. Lower the vehicle.
  1. Remove the fuel filler cap.

  1. Remove the fuel filler access cover retaining bolts.

  1. Disconnect the fuel filler pipe from the fuel filler valve and remove the fuel filler pipe.

  1. Remove the fuel tank filler valve housing retaining bolts.

  1. Remove the fuel tank filler valve.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Install a new O-ring seal.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
