Removal and Installation

Removal
  1. Disconnect the charge air cooler outlet pipe from the intake manifold tube.

  1. Remove the accelerator cable retaining clip from the fuel injection pump (intake manifold shown removed for clarity).

  1. Detach the accelerator cable from the retaining bracket (intake manifold shown removed for clarity)

  1. Detach the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal.

  1. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator cable retaining bracket.

  1. Detach the accelerator cable grommet from the bulkhead.

  1. Remove the accelerator cable.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
