Removal and Installation

Removal

All vehicles
  1. Remove the steering column upper shroud.
    1. Using a thin bladed screwdriver, release the two clips (one each side).
    1. Remove the shroud.

  1. Remove the steering column lower shroud.

  1. Detach the steering column multifunction switch.
    1. Depress the locking tangs.
    1. Detach the steering column multifunction switch.

  1. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
    1. Remove the screws.
    1. Release the clips and remove the instrument cluster finish panel.

  1. Remove the instrument panel bezel lower screws.

  1. Remove the instrument panel bezel side screws.

  1. Remove the storage tray.

  1. Remove the instrument panel bezel upper screw.

  1. Pull the instrument panel bezel forwards and disconnect the electrical connectors.

  1. Detach the climate control assembly.
Vehicles without air conditioning
  1. Remove the climate control assembly.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
    1. Unclip the temperature and air distribution cables.
Vehicles with air conditioning
  1. Remove the climate control assembly.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
    1. Unclip the air distribution cable.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
