Refrigeration - Refrigeration Condenser Core—Vehicles With: Charge Air Cooler Transit 2000.5 (01/2000-05/2006)
Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Evacuate the refrigeration system. For additional information, refer to Section  412-00 Climate Control System - General Information.
  1. Remove the charge air cooler. For additional information, refer to Section  303-12 Intake Air Distribution and Filtering.

  1. Remove the right-hand air deflector.

  1. Remove the left-hand air deflector.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Seal off the refrigerant lines and the refrigeration condenser core to prevent dirt ingress.
    Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the refrigeration condenser core.
    • Discard the O-rings.

  1. Remove the refrigeration condenser core.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Install new refrigerant line O-rings.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:Coat the refrigerant line O-rings with clean refrigerant oil prior to installation.
    Install the components in the reverse order.
