Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Do not touch the adhesive surface as re-bonding will be impaired.
    Detach the watershield from the rear door panel.

  1. Detach the rear door lower latch from the rear door panel.

  1. Detach the cable and remove the rear door lower latch.
    1. Detach the outer cable from the bracket.
    1. Disconnect the inner cable from the lock lever.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
