Insert the new rod through Hole #1 then guide the rod through Holes # 2 and # 3 (Figure 1).

3.

Pull the spring over Section "A" of the parking brake control (Figure 1).

4.

Verify proper operation of the parking brake control.

5.

Reinstall the parking brake boot. The handle and boot will click into position when properly installed.
