4. Pry back ratchet mechanism, then install pin, to relive tension on timing chain tensioner and remove tensioner.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Ensure balance shaft timing is correct.
b. Do not replace camshaft bolt with a standard bolt.

d. Align timing chain and sprockets by placing No. 1 cylinder at TDC and crankshaft keyway to 12 O'clock position. Ensure timing marks on
sprockets are positioned across from each other.
