Windstar V6-3.8L VIN 4 (1997)
12. Lift compressor bracket hook off frame rail and remove.
13. Remove compressor relay if replacing compressor (two nuts).
INSTALLATION
1. Install relay to compressor bracket (if removed).
2. Install compressor to frame rail. Install hook at top of compressor bracket to slot in frame.
3. Install three bolts. Tighten to 6-8 Nm (54-70 inch lbs.).
4. Install hose retainer and snorkel assembly pushpins to body frame rail.
5. Connect two electrical connectors.
6. Install air line. Push in air line until fully seated.
7. Install air line retainer to compressor bracket.
8. Install left splash shield.
9. Install front left wheel and tire assembly.
10. Lower vehicle.
11. Connect negative battery cable.
12. Turn on rear suspension leveler compressor switch.
