Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement

Tools Required

J 45859 Axle Remover

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the tire and wheel. 
3. Remove the front brake rotor. 
4. Remove the speed sensor from the wheel bearing and hub. 
5. Remove the wheel drive shaft retaining nut and washer.

6. Install the J 45859 to the wheel bearing and hub.
7. Using the Camshaft and cylinder head inspection (SOHC), separate the wheel drive shaft from the wheel bearing and hub.
8. Remove the J 45859 from the wheel bearing and hub assembly.
