J 36511 Oil Fill/Drain Plug Hex Bit (17 MM)
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Using J36511 remove the oil fill plug.
3. Place a suitable drain pan under the transmission in order to catch the drained transmission fluid.
4. Using J 36511 remove the oil drain plug.
5. Remove any old sealant from the transmission housing.
Installation Procedure
1. Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the oil drain and fill plug threads.
