Clutch Disc: Service and Repair

Clutch Assembly Replacement

Special Tools

J 36660-A  Torque Angle Meter

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement (4WD)   (See: Manual Transmission/Transaxle/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Transmission Replacement)Transmission Replacement (RWD)   (See: Manual Transmission/Transaxle/Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement/Transmission Replacement).

2. Remove the clutch pressure plate bolts (1).

Discard the bolts.

3. Remove the clutch pressure plate (2) and driven disc (3) from the dowel pins (4) on the flywheel (5).
