Control Arm: Service and Repair
Rear Upper

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Support the rear axle.
3. Disconnect the Real Time Damping (RTD) sensor. (if equipped). Refer to Rear Position Sensor Replacement - Automatic Suspension / Service

and Repair.

4. Remove the nuts and bolts from the frame bracket.

5. Remove the nuts and bolts from the axle bracket.
6. Remove the upper control arm.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the upper control arm.
2. Install the bolts to the axle bracket.
