3. Connect the upper latch control rod (1) to the control handle clip.
4. Connect the lower latch control rod (2) to the control handle clip.
5. Install the access hole cover, as necessary.
6. Install the water deflector, as necessary.
7. Install the trim panel, as necessary.

Rear Door Lock Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Disconnect the inside door handle and lock control rods.
4. Removing the outside door handle by completing the appropriate step:

On the Crew Cab vehicles, unsnap the threaded clip in order to remove the outside door handle.
*
On the 4-door Yukon/Tahoe vehicles, push in the clip in order to remove the outside door handle.
5. Disconnect the power door lock connector.
6. Remove the lock assembly bolts.
7. Remove the lock assembly from the vehicle.
