Auxiliary HVAC Module Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill).
3. Remove the left rear quarter trim panel.
4. Remove the left rear corner garnish molding.
5. Remove the air distribution duct upper.
6. Remove the air distribution duct lower.
7. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the auxiliary HVAC module (1).
8. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
9. Remove the cover from the underside of the auxiliary HVAC module.
10. Remove the one retaining nut in order to remove the auxiliary evaporator underbody rear tube assembly from the core.
11. Disconnect the heater lines from the underside of the auxiliary HVAC module.
12. Remove the retaining nuts from the underside of the auxiliary HVAC module.
13. Lower the vehicle.
14. Remove the auxiliary HVAC module.
