Sierra Denali RWD V8-6.2L (2009)
1. Install NEW O-ring seals to the flywheel housing, if necessary.
2. Apply a 2 mm (1/8 in) wide bead of sealant (3) to the flywheel housing sealing surfaces. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (See:
Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Specifications/Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers) for the correct part number.
3. Install a NEW oil cooler adapter gasket .
4. Install a NEW oil cooler adapter to flywheel housing gasket.
5. Install the oil cooler adapter to the flywheel housing.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution) .
6. Install the oil cooler adapter bolts.
Tighten the bolts/nuts to 21 Nm (15 lb ft).
