Open the sunroof all the way.

With a small slot-head screwdriver, bend back the tabs on the lockwasher under the clutch adjusting nut.

Torque the adjusting nut to 12 N-m (108 in.lbs) with the sunroof fully open.

Insert a 14 mm thin wall deep socket through the access hole and clutch cover, and torque the adjusting nut to 12 N-m

(108 in.lbs).

Bend the tabs of the lockwasher down against the nut on at least 3 sides. If you don't, the nut will come loose the first time you close the
sunroof.

Check the Sunroof Closing Force

Check the sunroof closing force: Attach a spring scale to the front edge of the glass as shown. Then have a helper push and hold the switch to
close the sunroof while you measure the force required to stop it. Read the force as soon as the glass stops moving, then release the switch.
Closing force should be between 44 and 66 lbs.
