Seat Latch: Service and Repair
Rear Seat-Back Latch

NOTE:

-

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

-

Take care not to bend or scratch the interior trim.

1. Remove these items:

-

Seat side bolster, both sides 

-

Rear bulkhead cover

2. Disconnect the cylinder rod (A) from the trunk compartment.

3. Remove the bolts, then remove the seat-back latch.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

-

Make sure the cylinder rod is connected securely.

Make sure the seat-back locks securely and opens properly.
