Turn the rear housing over. Use two flat-tip screwdrivers to separate the stator from the housing. Place the stator on the padded surface with the
studs facing up.

Remove the insulator bushing inside the rear housing (it may have stuck to the stud on the back of the stator assembly). Remove the rubber gasket
from the brush holder (it may have stuck to the inside of the rear housing).

Remove the three diode bridge mounting screws. Remove the diode bridge from the stator and place the bridge on the padded surface with the
studs facing down.
