2.

Remove the transmission end cover.

3.

Remove the mainshaft shim and spring washer from the end cover.

4.

Discard the spring washer and replace it with an 0.8 mm shim (H/C 2112449).

5.

Install the new shim and the original shim in the end cover, then reinstall the cover and torque its bolts to 9 ft.lbs

6.

Refill the transmission.
