Tiburon L4-1.8L (1997)
INSTALLATION
1. When the booster assembly is installed, replace the parking at each end of the booster mounting holder, if necessary.
2. Install brake booster and tighten the mounting nuts.
Tightening torque: 8 - 12 Nm (80 - 120 kg.cm, 6 - 9 ft. lbs.)
3. Connect clevis to brake pedal with clevis pin and install the split pin to the clevis pin.
4. Install master cylinder and connect the brake tube to the master cylinder.
5. Connect vacuum hose to brake booster.
6. Pay attention to the direction of the check valve when installing.
7. Fill brake reservoir with brake fluid and bleed the system. See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair
8. Check for fluid leakage.
9. Check and adjust the brake pedal.
10. After installation, apply sufficient grease to the clevis and brake pedal contacting points.
